National was the cheapest for me in FLL booked for compact and got a full size Impala with leather seats, you need to be a member to choose any car in the Aisle section.

I have seen that Costco travel (if you are a Costco member) seems to be the lowest in FLL, I have rented from them four times, each time significantly lower than, Priceline, orbitz, Kayak, etc..

Yes. I've been using Priceline Name your Own Price for years for hotels and car rentals.  They are almost always cheaper than the various codes I've found.  The guy who helped me at the Alamo desk said that this was one of the better rates he's seen in a long time (I'm assuming not including the summer).

Ive always done PL in FLL, and its always much better than the quoted rates.
