Looking for advice on trip to Israel-business class/first class
« on: October 17, 2010, 11:13:37 PM »
I am planning on going to Israel for about a week Feb 7-14 2011. I am looking for advice on what would be the most comfortable way to get there, which airline has the best seats, and whats the easiest way to get there with miles. If anyone can help me maybe I can give some of what I have in exchange, I have AA miles, and 4 VIP international upgrades, so maybe we can make a deal?
Thanks!

1- before anyone tells you who has the most comfortable seats and its probabaly an individual thing meaning I think USAir beats almost everyone seat wise hands down but they do come up short service wise and I dont care for their flight times

But why dont you tell us which programs you have at least 130k in so that we can better help you.I used 130k since thats the max needed for a biz seat on a OneWorld Carrier

If everyone holds say US is best but you have only 28k with aStar Alliance Carrier what good does it do you

Using AA miles Id say RJ (Royal Jordanian ha steh best Biz seat comfort wise, but you might not want to go via AMM and alot of times it means a 5 hr layover @ AMM and an RJ (regonal jet = smalll plane to TLV). Next Id say is BA but it isnt easy scoring a biz seat on BA and now you will be hit having to pay a surcharge for flying each segment on BA

PS i thankfully dont need anything for giving my advice

RJ has several flights a day most are the regional jets 1 I believe is an A-320, so if a person is lucky they will get the 320. But it really doesnt matter as the flight is probably longer on the runway then up in the air

but having the jumper does mean they will take your rollaboard carry-on away from you as there isnt any bins with enough romm to hold them

did you fly RJ out of AMM as well?
