FOR PRICELINE RESERVATIONS WITH BOOKING FAILURE
Call Priceline 1800-259-2091 dial 3 and then 1 and ask for the contract receipt.
Then fax the contract to Delta with your name, email and phone number to 1801-575-3000
UPDATE: It is no longer necessary to fax in anything to Delta. Just call Delta direct, with the priceline conf number, ask for a supervisor, and they are honoring all tickets! ;D

How would Delta know how much traffic came from DansDeals?

Im sure there investigating this from all aspects, who coded the system wrong, and where did they get traffic from, and how it spread so fast.

I recall ELAL saying after there glitch that they put in a system to prevent it from happening again.

one rep asked me how I found out about these tickets she really would of loved to go to Hawaii in biz. I told her she can call me on my cell and I will tell her. when she called she was very grateful and said if I ever need something she can help me with I should call her.

not sure what she can do for me?

If you're ever in a bind you can try calling her.

Orbitz and Priceline would know if you used his referral code.
What does that have to do with Delta?
Im sure there investigating this from all aspects, who coded the system wrong, and where did they get traffic from, and how it spread so fast.

I recall ELAL saying after there glitch that they put in a system to prevent it from happening again.
There was probably 0 referred traffic directly from DansDeals to Delta. As Moshe123 mentioned, maybe Orbitz and Priceline would have some data, but even then that's only for people who used referral enabled links.

Personally, I booked with Delta via the original skiplagged link, which wouldn't show up in anyone's stats (at least not as coming from DD).

Never said it has anything to do with Delta, though I can see them getting that info from Orbitz under certain circumstances if they are willing to share.

I'm sure Dan has plenty of data about how many people booked through his priceline (the ones that actually went through automatically) and Orbitz links

I have flown the JFK - LAX route this past week and I think the front of the plane was chock full of DansDeals Readers. No upgrades fro the medallions, that's for sure.

Flew the same route. Wonder if the two non dansdealers in the front actually paid full price 😜

Clickthrough numbers are not equivalent to data on how many people bought tickets. That would be a pretty sophisticated tracking system, and it would require cooperation from PL or Orbitz.

Just a couple of questions regarding flying with delta.
Im flying econ JFK-LAX and Biz LAX-NYC I have a amex plat but no delta gold

1. is there any way that I can get free luggage on both legs? Although dan mentioned in another post that you "should" be able to, is that a case of YMMV? did anyone have experience with that?
2. Will my amex plat give me priority boarding with delta on my econ flight
3. Dan metioned that he was able to reserve kosher food for the lounge in advance... how exactly do I go about doing that?
4. when requesting kosher meals for the trip the delta rep told me that on domestic flights you cant reserve kosher meals even in biz - is that true?

Thanks!

My original question was to mgarfin who asked
Dan did you hear back from Delta as significant amount of tickets came from you?
and I was trying to explain why the question made no sense.

Dan gets paid for everyone who bought tickets. Trust me, they have that data.

Is that true? Tickets, not clicks?

My PL link was down for much of the time.  That's why I tweeted people to just go to PL.
Also most people had their PL tickets honored by DL, which doesn't track through.
Either way DL doesn't have PL data from where it came from.

But yes, I still make some shekels.  Like I said BAHyaman and Proisrael are the ones to really thank.
Save your time, I don't answer PM. Post it in the forum and a dedicated DDF'er will get back to you as soon as possible.
