FOR PRICELINE RESERVATIONS WITH BOOKING FAILURE
Call Priceline 1800-259-2091 dial 3 and then 1 and ask for the contract receipt.
Then fax the contract to Delta with your name, email and phone number to 1801-575-3000
UPDATE: It is no longer necessary to fax in anything to Delta. Just call Delta direct, with the priceline conf number, ask for a supervisor, and they are honoring all tickets! ;D

How much flying do you plan on doing within the year? You need a fair amount of flying for status. Also, Delta has a spending requirement (ie even if you earn the 25k MQM's necessary for Silver, you still need to have spent $2500 on tickets to qualify).

I fly somewhat often for business and I already have close to a thousand MQDs because of that and I spent a few hundred on a short Aearolineas Argentinas which I can tack on as well so I think I can at least reach silver this year. My question really is, is Alaska and/or Korean's elite program any good? Because if it isn't I'd go for Delta's. Unless there's another airline in Skyteam that's worthwhile (I dont want to do FB due to requirement of flying on a paid ticket - dont wanna risk losing miles).

Alaska miles are worth way more than Delta miles, add in the fact that upgrades as a Silver on Delta are pretty low and the spending requierment.. makes much more sense to stick to Alaska...

But what benefits to I get from alaska elite status that would make it worthwhile? If hypothetically, I dont care about the miles at all and only care about status, wouldnt Delta make more sense?

I booked 8 tickets to LAX for pesach time through Priceline. The problem is that I never recieved a confirmation email or anything. My CC  was never charged.
Is there any hope of getting these tickets confirmed?

call PL and ask for a contract id number. and then call delta with that number. it's detailed in the wiki
If you see something that is 50% off but don't need it, walk away and save yourself 100%

anyone have luck in a similar situation to this.

I booked one set of confirmed tickets on priceline for the 15th through 23rd in Hawaii (currently there).

I also booked a set of unconfirmed tickets that I got a contract number from priceline for jfk-lax (16-22).  Those lax tickets are now past and I would like to get Delta to honor those.  THey tried calling me and emailing me and I called them back and asked if they could change the date unsuccessfully then and now I would like to get the date changed to later in the year.  When I tried calling tonight they said you cant be two places in the same place at the same time.

If anyone had luck in a similar situation please let me know how you did it.

If there's a will there's a way. Do you have your record number from priceline? Call Delta.
