FOR PRICELINE RESERVATIONS WITH BOOKING FAILURE
Call Priceline 1800-259-2091 dial 3 and then 1 and ask for the contract receipt.
Then fax the contract to Delta with your name, email and phone number to 1801-575-3000
UPDATE: It is no longer necessary to fax in anything to Delta. Just call Delta direct, with the priceline conf number, ask for a supervisor, and they are honoring all tickets! ;D

If I see one more post on on this thread about someone whining about their massive problems and wanting to get compensated.

My flight is delayed by 12 minutes! Compensate me!
My kosher meal was not as good as Mike's Bistro! Compensate me!
The pilot wouldn't do a barrel roll even though I asked nicely! Compensate me!

You're flying across the country (probably in first class, too) on a goddamn $50 ticket. You should go down to Delta's headquarters and kiss the hem of their robes, not complain like an entitled little prick.

It's not jealousy. It's just nauseating to see so. many. people. greedily whining about largely trivial "issues" in the hopes for compensation on a transcontinental first-class ticket which cost less than dinner for two at a fast food place, and, by the letter of the law, probably didn't have to be honored, but was anyway.

I was in on the deal (like a large number of people on the site). My flight was delayed 2-2.5 hours on the way in and I wouldnt dream of complaining to them.
It has absolutely nothing to do with jealousy.

It seems to have gotten out of hand. And complaining about issues while travelling is fine. Heck, I'm even excited when certain things go "wrong". But I think people have gotten the wrong ideas into their head and taken things to an extreme.

I'm obviously not going to take up this argument with you now, but as Joe already mentioned above, I did get in on the deal. And on top of that, I'm still two months out and already up to the 8th schedule change, including one involving a flight number and equipment change. If the new changes don't work for me I simply call up and ask Delta to change my flights; so far they've gone above and beyond, even putting me on a new - and far better - flight for as little as a 15-minute change.

But did it even once cross my mind to ask for compensation???

You guys are right.

 But you do get a little kvetchy when you are sitting in the airport waiting an extra hour and a half for your flight and they keep bumping up the time on you.

And then because of the late flight not getting to the hotel until 4 AM, ruining your first day of vacation.

And then finding out at 6 am that your flight is delayed and having to rush to the airport to catch and earlier flight and ruining your last hours of vacation.

Getting a schedule change should not be a problem at all.

Changing airports will require a reticket, meaning it'll cost you the difference in price. However, EWR to JFK may be possible IIRC. HUCA and see what happens.

It worked for me. They changed my departure time by 90min. I was able to change my departure from lga to JFK.
