FOR PRICELINE RESERVATIONS WITH BOOKING FAILURE
Call Priceline 1800-259-2091 dial 3 and then 1 and ask for the contract receipt.
Then fax the contract to Delta with your name, email and phone number to 1801-575-3000
UPDATE: It is no longer necessary to fax in anything to Delta. Just call Delta direct, with the priceline conf number, ask for a supervisor, and they are honoring all tickets! ;D

It's the same story for a lot of people who booked with Priceline or Orbitz (and possibly other websites too). As I understand ..... Priceline or Orbitz offered the fares, accepted payment, created their own confirmation number and created a Delta record locator in conjunction with Delta, and emailed all that info to you. Then, it seems they "dragged their feet" on issuing the tickets until a little later in the day when Delta had caught on and started blocking agents from "ticketing" these mistake fare reservations. When Priceline/Orbitz realized that your reservation hadn't being ticketed and was still sitting in their system "unticketed", they then sent you a ridiculous email implying that your flights weren't available and you should rebook. Now Delta says if your reservation wasn't "ticketed", then your reservation is meaningless as far as Delta is concerned, and you may or may not have a legitimate beef with Priceline or Orbitz for offering you the fare, confirming it, and then cancelling your reservation. I think they're both at fault, since I can't accept that Delta doesn't share responsibility when its system rejected the reservations that were legitimately booked at the mistake fare, after Delta proclaimed they were honoring the mistake fare. Now of course there's the question as to whether Delta and or Orbitz/Priceline is in violation of DOT price increase/cancellation rules.

I got the text, and just watched how the yoshon bm in bmg slowly emptied out!!

Should've seen the dining room, was quite a scene.
Then when Yankel Pollak walked in, and all the smart phones quickly slipped into the pockets:D

Unless you're very attractive, winking at the gate agent isn't going to help.

What's criminal about it? Is there a law against it? Stupid maybe but I see no reason for it to be illegal.

It is
maybe you should get out more, but thats prob going to get u taken away in cuffs, maybe even identity theft.

there is a kosher way, maybe try calling delta and say you put in the wrong name (one being hebrew one being english) then if they argue, you might have a lawsuit on your hands ;) i might have had similar experiences in stores with this method.... ::)

I don't know about that..

You can always just get a fake ID. Or go Mossad style and dress up as the person whose name is on it. End Of Story.

I hope people realize that nobody had an issue with the actions proposed in that thread.
You just don't leave such info out in the open. You know about it? Fine. Time to delete it.
