FOR PRICELINE RESERVATIONS WITH BOOKING FAILURE
Call Priceline 1800-259-2091 dial 3 and then 1 and ask for the contract receipt.
Then fax the contract to Delta with your name, email and phone number to 1801-575-3000
UPDATE: It is no longer necessary to fax in anything to Delta. Just call Delta direct, with the priceline conf number, ask for a supervisor, and they are honoring all tickets! ;D

According to whose psak do you follow ?

I don't think that's relevant; I don't want anyone basing their halacha on what my rav told me.

Basically everyone should ask their LOR and do accordingly.

Amazes me the amount of people here complaining with almost nobody complimenting Delta on the "gift" they are giving.

Wonder if the same people sending DOT complaints are emailing Delta thank you letters after they get their Priceline itineraries confirmed (which Delta had no reason to do)
I didn't send a complaint but I took your advice and sent them a thank you note.

Thanks for the idea.

in all honesty i wasent asking to bash, just curious because there are few opinions, I read about it years ago in shmirat shabbat k'hilchasa, but I think its covered here http://www.star-k.org/kashrus/kk-trav-dateline.htm

However, Rav Yosef Yitzchak Marlow told me that if I made plans to spend shabbat with the chabbad shliach there, he is my "shliach" in the area and I follow his times

Oh, no, I didn't take it that way at all. No worries.

My point was simply that there are many opinions, so everyone follow their rav and don't take a psak off an internet forum :D.

Basically my rav's reasoning is that since this is a safek d'oreisa (in his opinion; he's one of the best known poskim in the US), I should keep shabbos on Saturday and keep d'oireisas on Friday. Rav Wosner in Shevet Halevi also paskens like that.

For certain classes it's just 7500 sky miles to upgrade to first.

you don't need to send a fax in anymore all you need is your priceline itinerary number and delta has access to the ticket booking

Just got ticketed after a roughly hour phone call with DL. 6 passengers from JFK - HNL in business for $1016.40. The agents were super polite and helpful, very impressive.
