FOR PRICELINE RESERVATIONS WITH BOOKING FAILURE
Call Priceline 1800-259-2091 dial 3 and then 1 and ask for the contract receipt.
Then fax the contract to Delta with your name, email and phone number to 1801-575-3000
UPDATE: It is no longer necessary to fax in anything to Delta. Just call Delta direct, with the priceline conf number, ask for a supervisor, and they are honoring all tickets! ;D

now that my trip is over i figured id post how lucky i got with changing my $58 business class ticket recently, really a funny and crazy story at the same time.
I was originally supposed to leave feb 27th and return march 3rd. I could not leave on that weekend so i was was prepared to simply eat the ticket. On feb 27th 2 hours after my flight left for some reason i decided to open up the reservation on my iphone delta app. It said the flight was "delayed" but in reality it left about 15 minutes late and was in air almost 2 hours. In any case it offered me to change for free to any flight till the following day. I didnt believe it and thought an error would come up. I decided to change it to feb 28th sure enough it worked. Comes the next morning I had the same "delay", Sure enough it worked again and this time i moved it to march 2nd again just hoping to roll it another day or so so I could fall into the weather waiver window. After shabbat I saw the flight left early and my jig was up, so I thought. Then I saw the waiver was in effect for mar 2-4. My return was march 3rd so I fell within the window of moving it out as far as 8 days but my flight had already left. Hold times were almost an hour and half so I messaged delta assist on twitter saying that I chose not to take my flight because I did not want to get stuck later on in the snowstorm and was trying to change it but couldnt get through. After exchanging information etc she changed my flights to this past weekend without a problem!

I kind of fell into no mans land because people either fly, change or cancel. Rarely do you just leave the ticket as is.

I couldnt believe how lucky I got. Everything really had to fall into place though and the weather waiver needed to go into effect. Lesson learned is if you didnt pay much for your ticket and will lose it due to change fees etc and are willing to gamble I suggest trying this method of constantly changing and see what happens, I kind of felt like I was in the casino playing with house money since I didnt think id actually fly. Keep in mind it only worked on the iphone app not delta.com

Wow that is lucky! Worked out great for you as you would have been in LA while it was non-stop raining.

Should be fine. All they asked me was to see that the name on the card matched the name on the boarding pass. They didn't even take the card or put the cc number into the computer.

It shows up on their system if it's in your delta profile that you have the card.

You sure about that? Because my name on my card doesn't even match my legal name on my boarding pass, so I can never add my delta skymiles number to flights and they still let me through with the luggage. They just glanced at my card and put some internal code in the system.

Maybe I got lucky

I just went into my delta itinerary and I got this message:
There has been a change affecting your trip. If you are not satisfied with this updated itinerary, you may be eligible to change your flight(s) at no extra cost. ( Conditions Apply)
If we are unable to accommodate a previously purchased Economy Comfort seat, Trip Extras or other trip purchases please select the 'Cancel' button to see eligibility.
I cant seem to find the difference in my itinerary. Has anyone gotten one of these?

even by a few min? I had a 5 min change. Though doubt they'd change anything for me over a 5 min change.

Yes, I got the same message. I called them and they told me the estimated time of arrival changed by a few minutes and you will get that message. No chance they will allow you to change your flight for it though.

No, they are very strict about not allowing changes to these price mistake tickets.
