I did it once, and after I ate, they walked around looking for outside food
It was so crowded when I was there that it was basically a free for all

The glitch is the gift that keeps giving.
We just returned. After magically getting some fairy goshmother in Delta to switch out return from HNL-SLC-EWR to HNL-LAX-JFK (HUGE if youre from 5T) we returned Business class on LAX-JFK leg. The kosher meal they served us was Kosher for Passover. Nothing like 5 month old frozen matzah and shehakol cake. The flight attendant felt bad and got us snack boxes that they sell in coach and gave us $50 vouchers.
After I wrote to Delta explaining that no person wants to be eating KFP food unless it's Passover. Not wanting to be a chaazer, I clearly told them that I am not demanding any sort of compensation, as I did not pay full price for this ticket. Just that I am giving them a helpful tip and that if they don't want upset passengers that pay for Biz class, then they should offer up-to-date-food.

They just sent my wife and I $50 Amazon GC and another one for the ticket we bought for our daughter just in case we brought her, which we didn't.
3 tickets for $292
-$150 in Amazon GC
-$100 in Delta vouchers
If we accepted their offer to be bumped on HNL-LAX, we really could have raked it in, big time.

...and giving!

Just noticed that Delta credited both my Alaska and Delta accounts for the flights. Between the two of us we earned over 60k miles...

Considering a minimum value of 1.4cpm, each ticket ended up costing $-237 ;D

Just checked my accounts and it looks like they did it for my glitch tickets as well as my not glitch Delta tickets. I didn't set up Delta accounts for my kids since I figured their points were going to Alaska anyways.

Not sure I understand how it went to both since I had my Alaska FF# attached to the reservation. I did have the Delta number there originally so it would show up in my profile but then I changed it before the flight.

I would try submitting a claim for the flights and see if Delta will give me the points but I would have to has them take away the Alaska miles and give me Skymiles instead.

From the Mileage Request Credit page "Retroactive credit will be given for flights taken no more than 30 days prior to enrollment into the SkyMiles program."

Oh well. For anyone with the 30 days make sure to set up the account. For those who haven't traveled yet make sure to open a Skymiles account. Maybe try using your Skymiles, Alaska and Flying Blue at some point before the flight. Maybe they will credit more than two  ;D

That depends on the fare class. I got a 50% bonus from both (although oddly DL gave me around 700 more than AS).

Has anyone called in lately to reinstate a ticket? Wondering how far out this will go, and whether they might be willing to honor tickets that were originally booked for last January.

I did travel on one of my other reservations and really had no use for this 3 day business class trip to lax, but now, given a challenge I have to keep gold status through 2016 and earn 50,000 SM bonus, I'm thinking of making a mileage run in the coming weeks.
