When ordering a ride in advance, do they send out the ride request at the selected time (as if i'm ordering it then) or does the car come at the selected time?

Lyft - request gets sent out at the time you request and gets accepted by the drivers to come at the certain time.
Uber- request get sent out at the selected time.

I'm using Uber/Lyft on the Desktop, When I tried ordering today a Lyft I received the following message




Anyone with an idea how can still book Lyft on a Desktop?

Ordered a Lyft,  actual  bill was $10 more than shown. There was no extra driving.

The pending charge was what it showed me.

Tried the help but it's automated and just tells me bill is correct.

Anything to do?

Same issue, was $20 more than quoted. Impossible to contact anyone

This won't help since Lyft gives an automated response that they are correct.

I see they respond to BBB, but don't think it's worth it to risk getting banned.

Yeah that's a question if I want to use Lyft in the future. Although given the fact that I had the whole ride from hell a few years ago, I'm not sure why I still use them, but as I was arriving in fort Lauderdale last week, I called the ride and used the weight and save which would be 15 minutes and after 10 minutes my driver was still 15 minutes away and then suddenly canceled the ride. Absolutely annoying

yes but giving up on lyft means only using uber and sometimes uber's not available.

Mostly I use Lyft when it's cheaper. But in these instances it's really just kind of not saving me anything

Wondering if anyone else experiences second tier lyft rides when you order a wait and save VS regular Lyft/Uberx

I feel like every time I get an older car or someone that's lower rated...
