It definitely has not wow factor, but the deli sandwiches are probably better than anywhere else in the area.

Don't know about you, but I don't very often go out to eat for deli sandwiches :)

There is a reason it's called Noahs Ark Original Deli

    Therefore?

I'm saying I don't often go out to eat deli meat; regardless of the name of the proprietor.

And even if I would, I don't like NA.

    Smokey joes
Ordered the boneless beef rib plate
Been hearing mixed reviews about the place. Please post your thoughts here or in the NJ food thread.
    Will do. Just ordered
    Mini TR from Smokey Joes
We were 4 people. Myself, wife and in laws.
Great service! Food was out in 10 mins.
    We just ordered main dishes.
I ordered the boneless beef rib plate Lots of flavor. Very well spiced. Very soft.

My wife ordered the sizzling fajita. It came out smoking hot. Was a decent steak. Nothing special.

My shvigger got the rib plate (with bones)
Very similar to mine. Very flavorful and soft.

My Shver had the grilled rib eye steak
Regular steak. Didn't really have much taste/ seasoning.

    Bill was $145
There wasn't much of a presentation of the food. But I did enjoy it.
    Definitely recommendable.

This place seems to be pretty hit or miss. A couple times I was there it was not good at all and a couple times it was pretty decent. Wish there was a Great authentic kosher barbecue place in the New York City area. Authentic barbecue food has so much potential.

I agree. Hit or miss is the best way I'd describe it. Sometimes, I'm wow. Sometimes, I have to shake my head.

Unfortunately in my experience when it misses- it really misses.

I went there once and had a really bad experience. Food was not good, but it could just be that we ordered bad stuff (someone at my table ordered some sort of chocolate chicken  :o). I've heard from many that their ribs are awesome...

Sorry, it was a couple of years ago. I really don't remember much....aside from the chocolate chicken  :D
I think they served some sort of corn bread with a sweet onion dip when we sat down...that was good  :D

We were a table of 6. Suffice it to say that no one enjoyed their food.
But again I hear that they're known for their ribs....seemed like Mech enjoyed it.

Ribs-had them once and they were good, had them another time and it was very dry. Pulled brisket sandwich- good. Brisket platter- just ok..was a little dry. Burgers- not good. Boneless ribs- just ok. Wings- amazing.
