+1 I did have it though.
Brisket sandwich to go - was good but nothing amazing. Bun was way too small and very soggy (granted, it was to go). Still would go again though.

Candidly, for its size, I think Teaneck's restaurants are pretty weak.  In a head-to-head with Crown Heights for example, it loses out by a wide margin.

Disagree. For a suburb market, it's very respectable.

2 fine dining, a few casual waiter service meat, lots of takeout.

Perhaps you misunderstand what I mean by "Teaneck's restaurants are pretty weak."

That is not a quantitative statement, it's a qualitative one.

Pound for pound, Teaneck's eateries do not hold up to CH. (And I say that as a fan of both ETC and NoBo.)

The JCC Café at the JCC is acceptable.
Tavlin meat restaurant and Bread Boutique & Cafe are not recommended.

Went to Senders for lunch. Got 4 sandwiches (4 people). I had the brisket and the Ziggy (schnitzel with bacon). Both were good. Don't get them takeoit unless you get bread on side. Picked up a Dino rib ($27) to eat tonight. Currently heating it in my sous vide. Will report on quality but it is large, but significantly smaller than izzys. Mine is about 1.5lbs but the bone is large.

I've been to Mike's, wolf and lamb, Abigaels, tierra sur, shallots, La Gandola (only the higher end ones).

The tasting menu at etc for under $100 (plus tip) is phenomenal both in terms of food and value.
