What's the latest on fleishig restaurants in Teaneck? Scrolling thru the thread it seems like most places have been going downhill but those posts are from a little while back?

Narruto bowl is worth a try.
Zula in Englewood is excellent.
Papis in Englewood has horrible service but great food.

But, yeah, Teaneck's food scene is underwhelming.

Looking fwd to NoBo 2.0 though, whenever that may happen.

Interesting statement. I think it's pretty solid, especially considering that it's not a huge community. There's only 1 steakhouse (ETC) after Nobo shut, but the are numerous midrange fleishig and milchig eateries, sushi, cafes, fast food, grill bars, and more. It's not exactly Manhattan (anyone who wants Manhattan food can go there pretty easily - it's not too far), but I think that what they offer serves them majority of needs, and has options for most meal types.

Agree with this perspective.  Most establishments are average at best.  Tavlin in Tenafly isn’t bad, as is Zula in Englewood.  AJK is spot on with Papi’s, ETC and Narutto. The tide will shift eventually…
