Kosher Culinary school
« on: December 29, 2013, 04:28:32 PM »
My friend was thinking of applying to http://www.kosherculinaryarts.com which I believe is the only Kosher Culinary school left since the one in israel closed down.
Anyone know of someone that went here or went themselves?
What type of program is it? Who is it geared for? What level of training do they provide?
Were you or the person you know satisfied with the training?
Are any current restaurant owners graduates of the program? Do kosher restaurant chiefs generally go to kosher schools or non-kosher school? (I believe mike from mikes bistro went to CIA)

so according to my wife (who's btw a wonderful cook), they have a few different programs like one on pastry, meat...., she took the boot camp course, she enjoyed it but others who were more advanced felt that it wasn't informative enough.

hope this helps, PM me for anything more specific
