Delta Gold Skymiles

I applied for a Delta gold card because of the Delta glitch tickets
my wife and kids are on a separate reservation then me (priceline lets only 8 tickets per transaction)
Does my wife and kids also get free baggage since they are not on the same reservation as me but on the same flight?
my wife is an authorized user

I was traveling with someone who was on a different reservation and they gave me no problems getting a free bag for the other traveler

I was told by delta they can be on separate itinerary just need to check in together (for luggage) for upgrades that may be different though
