How much do earring backs cost usually. Is 55 cents for 20 a good price?

because I just bought 20 for 0.55 (after shipping), and they claimed to be marked down from 8 dollars, but how should I know what they are supposed to be.

The first few on the page all cost bubkes with free shipping.  How can we go wrong?
I like the one with a flat clear plastic plate - you get 50 for .69 . Maybe I should buy both types and have an endless supply.
