TIME AT THE AIRPORT

United website says to allow 2.5 - 3 hrs at EWR  for international flights on Saturday. Do you really need that much time?

How crazy is it to get to EWR 1.5 hours prior to flight? I have trusted traveller and Premier Silver access but will likely be flying coach.

Shouldn't need more than a hour and a half.

Airlines say that about every airport. Even airports that only have two flights a day.

what is the minimum amount of time to be safe?

travelling to Mumbai on Sat night so real limitations on arrival at airport
