are all cx first class seats the same? i see a first class from hkg to pek in first on a 747 (according to ba)with one seat and would only book it if im getting the real cx experience (though wish it was much longer). want to make sure there isnt a weak domestic first class

i once took hkg-bkk in business and it was the regular lie flat biz seat, not sure if the same thing though

Their biz class products are different.
My DPS-HKG was different than the BKK-HKG I took. It had more of a 'suite' feel since each seat was in it's own pod, and not simply in a row.

just BEWARE Cathay is known to swap Aircraft at the last moment from time to time on intra Asian flights.

In the case of an equipment switch, what would happen if their Is no first class and I have a first class reservation?

Is there a way to.hold a CX paid ticket at a certain price for 24-48 hrs.

Also my ticket is subject to Sales Approval. What does that mean.

Yes, I know I am reviving an old thread, but there seems to be no other Cathay master thread.

Trying to book Cathay First but noticing that they are only releasing 1 seat even a year in advance. I need 2 seats. Is this a new thing?

Seems to be more normal then you think. Don't release a lot anymore and if then you might be better off booking J and hoping that they release award space very close to the departure date.
