1st part we obviously agreed on.
Tough debate on price mistakes. We're not going to see eye to eye on that one and I could have done better, but I think I did OK in the end of the debate.
I think you explained everything well. And he was a good host, for the most part just let you speak.

1) While there might be ways to phrase the dispute that wont be a straight out lie, at the end of the day the reality is all cc holder's lent money to someone on his own credit card, and the swiper did not pay back. While you are not under oath, you are in a way trying to defraud the bank Whatever you are going to tell the bank is misconstruing the truth, and essentially a lie which is a problem halachichally as well, since you are attempting to steal money from the bank.
I don't understand the issue with disputing. -When you open a dispute you can tell the bank exactly why you are disputing the transaction - you don't just tell them unauthorized - case closed. You explain to them the entire case .. Why can't you tell a bank I only authorized these transactions if I received a service - which in this case was getting paid back. Since I did not receive that service the transaction is therefore not authorized... If I order something from a store and they don't deliver it - I make the same claim I originally agreed to the sale as long as I get the product however since I did not receive the product - so the transaction was not authorized..

Nice try, but doesn't really hold water.

Listen to what you're saying "I paid for the service of being paid back?". Is that some form of Money Laundering? Cash Advance? Well, we as the bank aren't sure so we'll just file a report with the Feds.
I've been waiting over 5 years with bated breath for someone to say that!

Unauthorized means a fraudulent charge, where someone used your card without your knowledge.

I agree it's a strange service but that is the service I agreed to.. who cares if the service makes sense? This is the service the buyer and seller agreed to and it wasn't fulfilled..
In regard to money laundering - Who cares what it looks like - this isn't a case of money laundering..

You're able to dispute a charge when the goods or services is not rendered - I believe they tend to call all chargebacks unauthorized..

Why is everyone pontificating on whether or not you can dispute?

Look at the credit card agreement - it will define when and how to dispute - and call an attorney ASAP to discuss all possible ramifications, criminal and otherwise, that may result from a dispute.

Incorrect, that's a billing dispute.
