Ever hear of the expression " don't knock a man while he's down"?
None of the victims need to hear your vitriol right now. If you have nothing constructive to say, then just shut up and say nothing.

How will they learn their lesson if they are only victims and do not share blame for the mess they got themselves into? That they should have been more responsible does not absolve the scammers, but that they were victims of a scam does not absolve them from digging deep into how they got there. Not only the irresponsibility of what they did, but also the underlying attitudes that led them to fall in. Of course, the scammer who took advantage of them is millions of times worse.
You have the right to remain silent. Anything you say can and will be used to start a religious discussion.

There is a time and a place for everything.
You think the victims haven't heard this already many times over, or even come to this realization themselves? I'm sure they all did. Everyone here complaining that they want a first hand story. Some guy came out and posted. You think he/she came here to post to get bashed by a bunch of more people.
Maybe now you know why people aren't coming out with their story.

If you think so you only need to look over how people become victims over and over again with it always being the other guy's fault.

I am not so sure that they came to the correct realization themselves. If they take out of this to be more careful then they missed the boat. They need to get to the real deep underlying issue of expecting free money.

I wouldn't say that so fast. S**** alone was circling close to half a billion dollars the last 2-3 years. That's a heck alot of points before the 1.5k, 5x etc.
And this doesn't include all the other businesses that do this
Circulating a half a billion for what? He must of had a very very big business if those were his CF needs.
Or maybe his business *was* circulating cash..

Don’t we all “expect free money” when signing up for a new CC?

and the other is a real estate business which is also 10's of millions of dollars

Wait, someone was buying real estate with free cash?
If they were smart enough it could have been wildly successful... But I'm sure they were greedy.

You’re joking, right? This is such a puny insignificant % of the market... there are billions of dollars being swiped annually in the frum community
I've spoken to millionaires and billionaires with big time companies on my last several seminars. They aren't the ones selling points and flooding the market.

What do they do with their points, redeem for ¢1?

That's better than a lot of them do, but they gain the most from the seminars as they learn to optimize their rewards. Of which they have a ton.

Amex only gives .06 as statement credit.

I’ve spoken to a few business owners who gladly take advantage of Business Centurion travel 50% off/back. For people / businesses in that category (travel a lot or have employees travel), it’s not worth selling..

Honestly, I was half kidding when I posted that.
But @Dan and others siding with me, now I think I may have had a point.

It is the difference between someone who puts some riskable money into penny stocks and someone who risks everything.
