I don't understand the issue with disputing. -When you open a dispute you can tell the bank exactly why you are disputing the transaction - you don't just tell them unauthorized - case closed. You explain to them the entire case .. Why can't you tell a bank I only authorized these transactions if I received a service - which in this case was getting paid back. Since I did not receive that service the transaction is therefore not authorized... If I order something from a store and they don't deliver it - I make the same claim I originally agreed to the sale as long as I get the product however since I did not receive the product - so the transaction was not authorized..
So you are telling the bank you lent someone money, did not get paid back, so now I want to dispute? Their answer will be, our terms do not allow others to use your cards, and you are liable for any charges on your account. Banks are not a gemach

Does it say anywhere in the T&C that if you use the card on any way other than they want you to, that you forfeit your right to dispute the charges?
Also, there is a LAW about being dissatisfied with the goods or services if the charge is over $50 and depending on location of your home/merchant. You must try in good faith to reconcile, but when all else fails, you are not required to pay. Why can this not protect you even of you made charges against t &c?

If you bought a pair of shoes with a cc and the owner promised to take you for dinner next week and he didn't, is that grounds for dispute? It isn't because it's external to the transaction/product.

Swiping for cash, there is no product so you have nothing to even dispute or be dissatisfied with. Fella give you a tangental commitment which he didn't keep. How is CC bank responsible for that?

The power of the internet & WhatsApp.... this was created here next door https://forums.dansdeals.com/index.php?topic=101820.100
Wow... I was so involved in the other thread, and this thread kept on going totally off topic with all the 'Torah'diga aspects' discussions (all started with this denverite guy) so I completely tuned out! ... I didn't realize so many weren't following along with the ad campaign though! So now it seems that the BIG DEBATE is still 'TO DISPUTE OR NOT TO DISPUTE!' So many opposing viewpoints/opinions being shared, I don't think anyone has this figured out ... Not even the lawyer AT...

Dispute what? Swiping cards to get interest and accumulate points to sell and lending the bank's money given to us for personal or business use? As long as all went good then, no problem. But to chargeback and dispute it will not work. My neighbor and a friend is a district attorney here in Indianapolis, I ran this by him and he said in Indiana this is a criminal offence, if the banks go after you. Not sure how this works in NY, NJ though.
I was the Best, still the Best, and will always be the Best.

So the overall consensus is you cannot dispute, but alot have attempted to do so anyway.... question is if it worked out for them, we haven't heard back from any of the guys who took that route, either using a professional or without...

Paid. Some people spell it payed. But it's never pay'd.

Either way, I now quite a few people who were shut down by Chase without warning after swiping by some merchants, even merchants who always pay on time and are not running a ponzi scheme.

In English (as opposed to regular english) it's know, and at.
I've been waiting over 5 years with bated breath for someone to say that!

If any of you haven't jumped over to see what @chayal101 has achieved in this thread, it's worth taking a few minutes to do so.  He not only got ads created in English and Yiddish but has secured free ad space in numerous publications (one already running THIS week) AND even got at least one publication to stop running advertisements for credit card schemes.  A tremendous accomplishment and Kiddush Hashem and something nice to read before Shabbos!
