Previously you would have very few packages missing, now the past 3 months I have had 59 "lost" packages. I now have over $15,000 of loses and some guy in Delaware is probably living the life with all the stuff he stole from me. I will survive, I have made a lot more than $15,000 over the years however just a warning to others here that things are not as they used to be and it really is no longer worth doing buring groups with all the loses piling up

Why can’t they say if won you have to pay 10k ?

So set up a recurring transfer. Don't see why you would lock up your funds in a CD for no gain over that. Especially as rates continue to trend up.

If they were going to go bankrupt they shouldn’t of paid the 17k
On a side note, someone’s credit is worth more than 33k
For 500k most people would declare bankrupt

Do they have assets?
If they have the option to pay they may not gain anything by declaring bankruptcy. Unless they plan on borrowing, and then they have to figure what their out of pocket costs (principal plus interest) will be.
Must people would probably live tight for a bit so as not declare bankruptcy.
