1. I have tickets to EY for pesach with Turkish. They aren't flying but are giving me a very hard time with the refund (I suspect that since I bought an extra seat, the system doesn't allow the reps to do the refund). Already spent way too much time on it. I just filed a claim with Berkshire. What are the chances of them covering this?
DOT
2. I bought new tickets. Trying to buy insurance via InsureMyTrip.com but it can't find any plans for me. My guess is that it's because of the war. Which companies currently still offer coverage to Israel? (I'm sure this was discussed earlier in this thread/on DDF but really would rather not go through hundreds of posts if somebody knows the answer already)
Yearly plan or contact an Israeli company such as Egert and Cohen

does anyone know of good and affordable travel insurance that covers trips to Israel? (I usually use Allianz but they don't cover it now)

please respond ASAP I'm traveling on Sunday, and I might need insurance

IMG just sent me the following (you can PM me for a link to quote/purchase):

Quote
Effective immediately, IMG is once again issuing new iTravelInsured travel protection plans to travelers with Israel as their destination country. Please note that for all plans purchased with Israel as the destination country, losses due to, arising, or resulting from the conflict in Israel are not covered. Additionally, Cancel for Any Reason (CFAR) coverage will remain unavailable.

For iTravelInsured plan quotes with Israel as a destination country, the following disclaimer will appear in the IMG purchase path and must be included in your purchase path as well (if not using IMG’s purchase platform) when selling a plan with the destination of Israel that does not have Cancel For Any Reason (CFAR) coverage:

"Losses due to, arising, or resulting from the conflict in Israel are not covered.”

Please note, IMG continues to issue new international travel medical insurance plans (Patriot Travel Series) to travelers with Israel or Palestine as their destination country. These plans cover claims for unforeseen illness or injury unrelated to the hostilities, but as always, all claims are subject to all terms and conditions of the policy wording.
I've been waiting over 5 years with bated breath for someone to say that!

Travel Guard

Is one better then the other? I never heard of either, I've only used Allianz in the past
If it's not free shipping it's not worth it.

Allianz should cover for anything unexpected (I think up to 36 weeks).

MondialCare has a pre-existing and pregnancy exclusion like all other plans, but excludes unexpected pregnancy complications from the pregnancy exclusion up to week 35.

If relying on coverage make sure to have pregnancy stage and condition to be well documented, so that if indeed something unexpected happens they will pay.

That's a better option than Allianz?

I am unfamiliar with Allianz pregnancy language. Beware that Allianz language can vary from state to state.
