Travel bank can only be used for ticket purchases and fees associated with a ticket (revenue or award), and not any types of addons/upgrades (Even More Space seat, Even More Speed, Jet with your Pet, etc).

Yes, you were never able to do this.  I've been a JetBlue Mosaic for several years now.  Reservation agents can not do this, it's a restriction in their system.

This is my experience as well.

Any value?
I find most dates and routes have comparable pricing with other airlines.
Always praying for delayed baggage.

I'm noticing that despite their not being Blue Basic fares available with points, the amount of points needed for Blue fare are are equal to the price of Blue Basic. Make sense? I only checked on one route.

Meaning ~1.4-1.5 value of the blue basic price?

I have no idea if it's on all routes, it'd be interesting to see more DP's.
ETA: Def. not on all routes, this was NYC-SJU.

One date I tried EWR-FLL was 1.0 for blue basic and 1.61 (very cheap date) for blue. So it seems like it is pricing off blue for that route. Probably the specific route you mentioned is a bug or they didn't update the pricing to be based off not the lowest fare anymore, but the lowest blue fare.

having a upcoming trip with jetblue purchase was a blue basic fair, and they are refusing to seat us together with my wife and children despite the fact that we are travailing with a 2 year old and a 3 month old baby.

Airlines will usually always put minors with their parents. Arrive at the gate early and ask them to accommodate you. (DW worst case you'll trade seats with whoever is seated near your children.)

Can I use my almost expiring credit, and then cancel My tickets. Will it help to extend their life?

no but you can book a ticket far out and use free changes to change it. But don’t cancel after expiration as you will lose the credit.

That being said try calling JetBlue to see if they can extend it since you are not able to travel due to the pandemic
