Just wondering if part of the leg of a jetblue flight is cancelled, do you get the taxes back assuming the taxes are more then the cost of the actual flight (ie certificate) or you need to pay $100 to cancel?

Back when there was the JetBlue price mistake with switching flights I booked Roundtrip for my family for Pesach for $48 per ticket each way. Unfortunately, we cant use the the tickets and need to cancel.
I booked via blue Basic and they are now saying that each ticket is a $100 cancellation fee (essentially more than what I paid per ticket). Is there anything I can do here to get $ back or a credit to JetBlue? If it helps, I booked on a personal Amex Platinum.

Had the same story but they changed one of my flights so I was able to cancel without a penalty.

They did some small change for me- an hour or so. Is that enough?

Definitely worth trying.
I needed to ask them to waive the fees on the return flight because I booked them as one ways.

Can never hurt to try, they moved my flight up 2 hours. figured I'd try to nab seats off the schedule change. First call I wasn't successful, via chat on their site I got seats both ways... can never hurt to try and HUCA

I’m a card member. I checked In now thru the app and all checked in 7 bags and came up as free. It it supposed to be only 4 in total. Anyone knows if I could bring them and not get charged.

The answer is yes, but they are pretty much oos. Ymmv. Kliens potato chips and kliens cranberry rasin mix.

I am so done with Jetblue right now. I transferred 34,000 points from Chase and now trying to book a flight. When I get to "traveler details", the site is just frozen, there's nothing on the site that I can click on.

Why invest in getting you to your destination on time, or fixing a dysfunctional website, or answering phone calls in less than 2 hours when you can invest in going woke?

Ugh.
Continuing the slow circle down the drain at JetBlue.
Over COVID I've had much better experiences on Southwest and even United than JetBlue.
Really hope Southwest can expand their East coast footprint, and/or Neeleman's Azure expands quickly - I think that has the potential to be what JetBlue became in the 90s-2000s.
