This sounds like a professional hit. The way he was found was meant to make a statement.

Also, the fact that they picked him right off a street in the middle of Williamsburg may indicate that this is (very sadly) an inside job.

If I recall correctly, Ephraim Klein was murdered in the middle of CH, and initial video surveillance suggested a white minivan. He was also involved in real estate, and rumors we're circulating about it being a Williamsburg mafia hit.
