Author Topic: Sheva Brachos in Brooklyn / Flatbush (Read 13202 times)

I'm only telling you what I heard. Someone recently went to Spoons and was very unhappy. There's Café Hadar. I enjoyed Savor Café. They have a totally separate room and very nice service. Hadar I believe only has the outdoor section private. It's heated with lamps but probably too cold now. Savor has good food and nice people to work with. It's on Avenue P and Nostrand Avenue.

I recently did Savor for a large party. Couldn't recommend enough. Service was fanatics and they were an absolute pleasure to deal with. Menu was fixed with a reasonable price. Most restaurants were so difficult just to attemt to schedule. Once again u highly recommend. Feel free to pm me with Amy specific questions.

Kosher Delight is too cheap... and I get the feeling that Yunkees may be on the level of KD, am I wrong?

It's probably a bit higher than that but I've been to sheva brachos there and its not my favorite

IMO and my wife's, you won't find better than orchidea. Not in the city either, yes I have gone to noi due and va benne.

How about el gaucho steakhouse, I had a really nice sheva brcochos there a while ago

Instead of a shul, how about a catering place? How many people do you expect? Some halls have a smaller room with a smaller minimum. Khal chassidim comes to mind. They make a nice affair and they have an upstairs room. Paradise manor. Schick's manor.

I've been to sheva brachos at Yunkee many times (I have one next week) and it was always nice. A large step up from KD, but maybe not on the same level as the others.

if yunkees is still around, i've been there mmmaaannnyyy years ago, its a great place...not too cheap...very in between

How many people are you having?

We made last week Thursday in Glatt ala carte for 40 people and paid (cash) just about under $2000 all included. I attended last night Sheva bruches at china Glatt, it wasn't bad but no comparisant.
