Amazon now shipping on Sundays for Monday delivery by USPS

USPS is a royal pain. I'd rather wait until Monday and know that I will for sure get it without having to possibly wait online in the post office.

Although I did get a package from them on Sunday which they did indeed leave at my door. 

Never had an issue recently. They once did lose a package a year ago and Amazon overnighted it.

My issue is that they will not automatically make a second and third attempt like fedex and UPS.

I don't know. I never had an issue. If I ship it to work and they attempted to deliver on Shabbos, they always made a second attempt.
At home, they drop it by the door or in the mailbox.
