Help! AmEx MR Points: Transfer to which airline for best use?

Help!
Earlier this year I performed the big AmEx churn & now I need to close them to eliminate/reduce the annual fee.
We only use points/miles to fly annual family vacation LAX to Japan via any major but mainly ANA, UAL or JAL.

Which airline do you recommend I transfer them to?
Taking into account they're used only LAX to Japan itinerary, fuel surcharge, etc.
Last year I moved a lot of AmEx MR Points into Air Canada Aeroflot but apparently that was a mistake.
What shall I do now so I can close these accounts & begin booking Summer Vacation 2014!

Howdy! 

I was wondering if anyone transfers Amex points to either JetBlue or Virgin America and if so, which provides the most bang for the buck.  I am thinking of a family trip to the west coast (possibly Vegas or LA) and will likely book either JetBlue or Virgin America.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
