I haven't scoured for this answer yet... so here goes just realized I initiated a credit request for a Cathay flight I took to china to BA, is there a way to stop them from crediting those miles to BA and move them to Alaska to A*?

I have a flight JFK-LAS and return in coach (B and Y)
And then a flight JFK-LAX in business (C)

One of the passengers has 1000 Delta miles the other has 5000.  Neither Px has flying blue or Alaska miles.
So where do I credit the miles to?

I just got an email from Delta today that you can use TSA precheck by adding certain info to your skymiles account. Does the flight need to be credited to delta to use TSA precheck?

assuming I get 150% of miles flown on my I class business ticket with Delta it appears flying blue is much better option than Alaska as far as award travel to Israel or award travel from New york-San diego? any thoughts?

Going to la with a fam of 6. Are there any programs that I credit to that have family sharing memberships?

What would happen If i put in the same Alaska ff number to all members of my family?

So I am flying to LA today, whats the process like to have your miles credited to yout Alaska airlines account?

Currently Delta has my SkyPesos account listed, do I switch it after checking in?

It all depends on what the exact details of you trip are to decide where to credit it to. But unless you specifically want Delta miles for Elite Status, stay away from their SkyPesos.

Anyone have luck earning miles for a flight they didn't fly? If I put in a partner airline to credit the miles to is there more of a chance to actually get them?
TIA

Not exactly. None of the segments are going to be flown on this flight.

Am I able to change where the miles are credited after the flight and after the mileage was deposited in my delta account?

I was going to credit them to a different airline because I don't really collect delta points but now that there are crossover rewards w/ spg is it worth doing delta?

I believe you earn 1 starpoint per dollar spent on your delta flight so if this is a glitch ticket then I dont think the ~40 points should sway you in terms of where to credit the points.

I'll be picking up close to 8000 miles from Delta flights soon and I thought it would be clever to credit the mileage to Hawaiian Airlines so I could use them on an inter-island flight at some future date (as opposed to having 8000 orphaned miles in some other program I don't use). But I found a note on HA website saying they no longer credit Delta partner flights:

Quote
*Important message regarding the HawaiianMiles partnership with Delta Airlines. The last date for HawaiianMiles accrual on Delta Airlines is September 15, 2013. For future travel on Delta or for flights already booked on Delta, HawaiianMiles members will continue to enjoy accrual of HawaiianMiles provided travel is completed by September 15th.

Delta still lets me enter my HA number on the reservation, but is that meaningless? I assume I'd still get nothing from HA even though DL took the information. Is there any other program I can credit them to that could get me inter-island flights? Thanks.

gunnu be flying about 14k miles in next couple weeks, starting tomorrow. all in H or Q class (split about evenly). if all one big multi-leg itinerary, can you credit different segments to different programs or do they all have to go same one? any thoughts on where is best to credit them these days?
