Combining miles from different accounts

In the past I have combined miles from different family accounts to cover an AA award booking.  Does anyone know if I can do this using, for example, a cousin's (different last name and address) account.  The mileage would contribute towards but not cover an award ticket.

You'd need to specify what airline.
I don't know how to combine any types of miles.

If each account has enough for a ticket, just book from her account for your ticket.

yup that's what I'm doing, would've been easier if it was from my account though.
