If you are scared about your info getting out you should just write your initials such as "J. D." instead of your full name this way if anyone find the check ect.. They will not know the first name and last name. (unless you sign your initials)

If you think your 100% safe doing it this way be my guest. I'm not here to persuade you one way or another, I just made a simple statement. I wouldn't do it period. Good Shabbos.

I Know with Bank of America, they transfer you to another "strange internet company" to print checks, they do not do it themselves.

No I did'nt actually buy it I just checked (no pun intended) if the code works.
