AA.com award travel returning "flight no longer available"
« on: January 08, 2014, 11:04:41 PM »
I'm trying to search for YUL-FCO in June 2014 in Chrome, and every combination of flights I select is returning an error, "The flight you selected is no longer available. Please modify your request." Is anyone else encountering this, or point me at what it means?

Why is it showing available award flights, if they're not select-able?

I didn't do any checking of the AA site, but try in a different browser.

A flight flown by the airline that's ticketing you.  BA on BA.    AA on AA.    Not flying AA through BA, for example.

Ideally, Air Berlin - I've read that AA.com shows 'phantom availability' for Air Berlin, is that my problem? There were mixed reports as to whether calling would be successful in booking a flight on Air Berlin if it was 'phantom' on AA.com

I didn't get the error when I selected an itinerary with BA, only (of COURSE they'd be happy to let me pay $600 in taxes).

(I tried IE also, got the same error)
