It's none if your business what he does with the cash (maybe this is more befitting of the ethics thread but if he offers you a cheaper price to pay cash I don't think you have to worry about why... Even if it's obvious)

Never said it is. If he offers a better price if you pay cash, I agree that it isn't on you if he goes on to understate his revenue. Just pointing out that by charging $15 to use a CC (which is illegal in itself), he's making it blatantly clear.

Its been proven over and over that using a card is benefiting the owner as people spend more and easier, ao its in his own good to accept.
He is obviously stingy to pay the 2 percent visa is charging him and as a frum owner (aka cheap jew) found a way to nickel and dime his customer before pesach.

When will they learn ?

That's true. But I am referring to three day Yomtov's in general... like this past Tishrei.

I'd say Pesach's schedule this year (in Chu"l) is an OTD-trigger for working people, no weekend/break for three weeks straight since Pesach eats up two consecutive weekends...

Buying a hat for my son in BP and get charged an extra 15.00 dollars for using a CC.

This is just a sebset of the overall bad service/policies in the old-school shops in frum communities. The new-school shops will put them out of business, it's only a matter of time.

To some, it is actually preferable! Doesn't use up their vacation days, no huge amounts of emails when getting back
