I have 240,000 starwood points and 160,000 AA miles.
I need 2 business class tickets (preferbly direct) in the end of november(17-22) returning 10 days later.
Whats the best way to work it out? AA doesn't show business class availabilty going direct. Thanks

 you have to call AA and ask about what if anything is available on LY (ElAl) as you will need to do with most Programs

did you checkout what Delta wants?

 Non-stops are DL (SkyTeam) 240 SPG might be enough for 2 Biz tkts,

                       CO but you dont have enough SPG since its 2 SPG per 1 CO

                        US out of Philly (I feel they have the best seats up front for the TLV run at least) its 120k per tkt and SPG is 20k for 25k US miles (U could drive to PHL or take a flight there from NYC, parking can be had for $7 a day off airport alot cheaper then LGA,JFK or EWR Lots but then I try and not park in lots)

                          ElAl using AA miles

                         Dont forget AC (AirCanada) if you do a NYC-PHL-TLV then no reason NYC-YYZ-TLV (havent flown AC myself check to make sure you wont get dinged with any surcharges)

 so if you Only want NY-TLV non-stop youre down to ElAl with AA miles or DL

145K SPG=180K ANA, enough for 2 business tickets on CO or US with no surcharges.
Check availability before transferring.
Or call AA for El Al availability.

how do i check ANA availability without having an account,how long does it take to transfer?

I checked delta.com, they want 230,000 miles each ticket (looks like they have low mileage available one day  every few months)
AA said they had no Elal business class available the for full month(mid oct. till. mid dec.)

i signed up to ANA frequent flyer program but since i don't have mileage they don't let me search "partner flight award".
I need around nov. 21-dec. 2 ,2 seats in business class(pref. direct)

As the sticky says, there are no fuel surcharges for redeeming ANA points for travel on CO, UA, US, and Virgin Atlantic.  Taxes should be identical to what those airlines charge for the same flight.

 yes but not on CO. Im talking about EWR-XYZ-TLV and you will need to input the airport code for XYZ to see if there is anything avaialble. So EWR-FRA-TLV or EWR-ZRH-TLV
