Why not spread the good word of DD and tell them to read it here?

It's happened before...

In using AA miles:
-AA allows for free date changes and routing changes on award tickets.

May want to clarify.
There a $150 fee on saver awards for change of origin/destination. A fee will also apply if changing carriers.

Actually I was being serious, I don't mind grammar corrections.

Every airline charges for O/D changes.  Does AA indeed charge $150 though for a carrier change with the same O/D?

Seems so, see here
"Changes to the itinerary which involve different AAdvantage award(s) than originally ticketed require a reinstatement of the original award ticket, payment of the applicable award reinstatement charge (see below), and a new award ticket issued."

I have a ticket on hold with AA using AA and Elal via EWR and they told me to change it to via JFK would incur a $150 fee.

Although considered co-terminals, on awards they charge for the change.
It's the same with MIA and FLL.

Is there a way for me to search? I have a possible flight using continental but because of connections its over 4000 miles hence it would be 38000 points instedad of  22000. My understanding is that they calculate on actual distance flown not from deaparting city to arrival. Is that correct?

How does one check skyteam availability? Delta is showing reward availability, but at much higher mileage than their lowest fares. If I wanna search a Delta flight with Alitalia miles, can I do that online? Do I call Alitalia?

A little confused.
