I think it’s a true story that happened in EY. The end was little different the way I heard it, the dayan said in bais din that the color was not specified And the landlord did not make them paint it ( costs more to paint over black because you need more layers of paint.

if i understand the sign correctly, its warning you not to leave the building with the elevator when theres a fire, not using the elevator to put out the fire. therefore, using water would not help one leave the building and is therefore simply wrong. also, who gave them permission to scrawl their grafitti.
