I'm not saying it's equivalent, but the government supervision of dairy farms is because of health reasons, not religious ones.

I just said it's not equivalent. My point was that the reason why the government cares at all about vaccines and the reason they care about the milk is the same - public health.

There is a law that Jews can only eat milk (and it's derivatives) if the milking was supervised by a Jew. This is known as Chalav Yisroel. As such many members here have never had an M&M. Rav Moshe Feinstein is famous for giving a heter because of government supervision.

providing for the babies and young children who have access to nothing else..
