Ah! Thanks for the clarification. They use to have a store on Ben Yehuda - ice cream store called Ben and Gerrys - yea, they spelled it wrong! lol... this was about 12 years ago.. I thought it was funny.

Can the reason be that the licence/brand holder in America of these brands can block you from importing or block the brand in Israel from exporting?

Nature Valley makes a pareve chewy granola bar.  It is delicous. They export it to israel - Hebrew writing on the package...
I tasted it at the home of the American mashgiach.
None of the companies here make it pareve
