Better q is why they don't simply make high quality CY ice cream here. It isn't like B&J has a secret formula--they're just making high quality ice cream. Anyone can do it if you are willing to use good ingredients.

Pride of the Farm makes very high quality ice cream, just not the variety of flavors than B&J has.

Oh my, this really reminds me of foods I loved in South America.
The first one that I can think of off the bat - from Brazil, is called Requeijão (R is pronounced as an H).
It's a loose creamy cheese (basically, think melted cheese in a grilled cheese sandwich), and there are several CY brands that make it.
I loved that stuff!  Screw Dolce de leite, that makes me wanna vomit.
Dan, remember that stuff? Was definitely served for breakfast every day! ;D .
It's a staple on Brazilian's tables.

Not sold in to many places though, and not to well known.
Last I checked they can use a new container and graphics designer. (Could be they changed it with the recent label makeover on the milk)
