Ebay and Vanilla Reload Cards

when i search on ebay.com "vanilla reload", there are about 6 auctions, prices are higher than the value?
$100 card for $180?
when you click on completed on the left, some have actually sold

am i missing anything??

Same thing with Amazon gift cards, but not such a high mark up.

Not sure if this still works, but a while ago I sold an Amazon card on ebay and when it was going for higher than value I got nervous. Someone told me that the buyer would claim the card was empty and because I was just emailing him the code and there was no tracking info, ebay wouldn't protect the seller. So when it sold I sent him the code and I also mailed him the card creating tracking info. Never heard anything since, so I guess it worked.
