I am a recent DDer and have very mixed feelings about participating in some of the deals being posted.

I was doing homework with my son last week and saw the following in תפארת ישראל - בועז מסכת בבא קמא פרק ד
I am honestly very interested in thoughts from longer term participants who consider themselves shomer Torah uMitzvos.

Also not every deal is a mistake on their part. Figuring out the system to get the most out of your buck is not taking advantage of a mistake.

What about the actual mistakes like the recent Delta deal?  Those are what DD is famous for.  Is it worthwhile for a group of Mechashvei Torah and Shomrei Mitzvos to "take advantage" of these mistakes in such a highly visible way?

Did it ever cross your mind that it was all a huge marketing gimmick? They actually want you to take 'advantage' of the 'glitch'! If that even makes the slightest bit of sense (and it does to me) then you really never do know when and what is an ACTUAL mistake...

I just looked up the Sefer Hachasidim on Hebrew Books (Here Page 214) and that Siman looks quite different...

I have personally found that some deals really are quite questionable על פי הלכה but people here are very sensitive and get insulted if you are even מרמז to such a thing so I would say you were probably מקיים מצות תוכחה and can just let everyone continue to go about their business.
