I did. You obviously have no idea what I'm talking about.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cold_brew

I know every form of coffee, in miami we have panther coffee, you can get i dunno 12 hour cold brew.

Any ways, b'kitzur, I do 1 of 2 things, if I  brewd a full french press pot but only used half, on a winter shabbat i just pour the rest in a pitcher and put in fridge. If a new shebang is needed, i repeat daily coffee brew but put piticher in freezer 5 min then fridge

Look, we are generally looking at a miami winter of 75 degrees by the time I have my coffee at 11am (friends of chabad shabbas mevorchim running late)

im looking to address #1 3 day YT, a cold brew, any brew gets stale, #2 a cold shabbat where you want HOT coffee.

BTW, this is also another PITA if you are, like myself, a raw brown sugar user

I usually do 1 part coffee to 2 parts water.
These are good instructions.
http://noshon.it/blog/2013/08/how-to-make-the-best-cold-brew-iced-coffee/

its all BS, just brew a french press, give it 5 min to sit, plunge it, or pamayim ki tov, pour it in a pitcher, put it in the fridge

ive tried every coffee beside kopi lulak, this is the best for a shabbat morning

Lol. You should try actual cold brew sometime. You'll be surprised.

coffee=ground coffee.
diluting it using his ratio will not quite get you hot coffee
He uses a weaker ratio of coffee grinds as well. How much "essence" do you use to how much water?

I don't put hot water in. Just drink it straight.

You can dilute it with hot water to make it hot. I personally don't.

I was thinking of an airpot http://www.amazon.com/32125-0000-Liter-Lever-Action-Airpot-Stainless/dp/B000FAMSFK/ref=cm_cr_pr_product_top

Would the coffee be stale after 12 hours though?

But 50% hot water will not quite make it hot. Using which measurements would you be able to get hot coffee from this on shabbos. During the week we can just microwave it etc.

This is from Chazzano Coffee in Michigan! They are Kosher certified, in my opinion they are ahead of the game then French Press in Lakewood. I have used the directions below, to make a cold brew concentrate. On Shabbos I add 4 parts hot water to 1 part concentrate.

You Too Can Brew Great Coffee

You Too Can Brew a
Fantastic Cup of Coffee
Follow these steps, to make a delicious cup of Chazzano® Coffee at home.

1. Use a Burr Grinder to grind your coffee at a coarse grind.

2. Using a standard scoop, scoop your freshly ground Chazzano Coffee.*

3. Pour water that is between 195° and 205° F into the press pot. Cover the pot with the plunger, but do not press down. If you are boiling water, wait about 30 seconds for the boiling water to drop a few degrees.

4. After 90 seconds, press down the plunger slowly and serve the freshest and most fragrant coffee that you have ever had.

*Note: If you are enjoying delicious Chazzano® Coffee iced, add an additional coffee scoop in the press.

I want you to enjoy your Chazzano® Coffee in any way that suits your taste, but before adding anything, try it black. Take some quick noisy sips.

Do you taste or smell something exquisite that you don’t usually associate with coffee?
Do you smell chamomile, or chocolate, or even tobacco?
Does it taste smooth, buttery, or sweet?
Did the taste change after it cooled down?
Would you enjoy this coffee at breakfast, lunch, or dinner?
We would love to have your feedback. Fill out our Cupping Form online or come to Chazzano Coffee and fill one out in person—while enjoying a cup.

How to Cold Brew Iced Chazzano Coffee
With a large pitcher, place one cup of cold water in the bottom.
Place about a 1/2 lb. of fresh roasted coarsely ground Chazzano® Coffee  in the pitcher.
Pour 4 cups of cold water over the coffee in the pitcher.
Place the other ˝ lb. of coarsely ground coffee in the pitcher and pour 4 more cups of cold water and soak the grounds.
Leave the mixture in the pitcher for 12 hours or overnight, outside of the refrigerator.
After 12 hours, using a strainer or the strainer hole of the pitcher, pour the concentrated coffee in a large French press (Press Pot) and strain out the coffee grounds.
Pour the coffee concentrate in a closed pitcher and refrigerate.
For the perfect iced coffee use the following formula: 1 part coffee concentrate, 3 parts cold water over ice.
NOTE: If you use Chazzano’s Ethiopia Sidamo, you should expect a cold beverage with notes of chocolate and cherry. Try the Brazil Cold Brew for notes of butter, chocolate, and hazelnuts—like a marzipan beverage.

Instead of coffee, I tried out a caffeinated mint, it was actually really nice, and gave me a nice jolt.
