My windshield has a crack that's spreading.

I have full glass with Geico.
Will it hurt my policy to file a claim?
Any reliable place in Brooklyn BP?

No noticable cracks..

What's the deal here?

Amazing trick on filling like I mentioned, worth watching.
You can play the speed x2 so you don't have to watch for 8 min.

Thank God never needed one, but always comes handy when others need.

Could go for this and then learn from this what to get next time around.

Also got the nice old fashion 4awg or 6awg cable sitting in my trunk should the need arises.

I don't know why when I got to taking it off again I forgot about filling with water to find the leak... Anyway, couldn't find the leak and it kept filling up. I just drilled a hole in the bottom as someone mentioned. It still fogs up but at least the light works and build doesn't keep flooding and breaking

I guess that works for now until you find a new one or just live with this cracked drilled one!

Does GoodYear always expose people's information?
You get to see there contact information and what they drive , where they live? A big loophole in my opinion.

Anyone ever replaced on their own the pitman arms, idler arms, sway bar? Tie rods? Gear box/rack?
Steering is miserable on my car very hard to turn when not moving , meaning parking the car, and when driving on highways a loose steering wheel.
New power steering pump put it, new belt, there's power steering fluid in the reservoir, and yes a small leak from the hydro boost which needs a new gasket in the middle and by the end by the brake pedal.
So all the basic checks were done and now jumping to the other steering components, planning bon getting an alignment so thought to fix the steering before I waste money on an alignment. Brand New tires as well, and will replace front and back shocks or springs if needed.

just curious if anyone actually replaced any of this steering components in the front of the vehicle by themselves?
As having all or lots replaced at a shop would require me to  have a money tree in my backyard.

Assuming if you did such a repair you would know the parts of a car, but for those who like all those fancy words and want to understand, here you go..

Everything but gearbox/rack I have replaced many times. I once had the same issue as you and it was a defective rebuilt power steering pump. An air pocket in the system can cause what you are describing also.

For an air pocket in the power steering reservoir all you do is keep it open and then all the bubbles bubble out.

But will have to take another look at the power steering pump if you're thinking that's issue.

So who's your helper when doing all these repairs or is your son using you as his helper?

Air pockets are not that simple. It can be in the pump.

Then that will require me to do some research. Thanks for the tip on what it can be!
