Bing? 😶
It showed in search results.
Only on DDF does 24/6 mean 24/5/half/half

The rubber seal under the left sliding door of my 2020 odyssey somehow broke off and is now sticking out when the door is closed, from what I can see it looks like it broke off the clip closest to the front.

I think this is the part, https://www.hondapartsconnection.com/oem-parts/honda-2018-2020-honda-odyssey-weatherstrip-l-slide-door-lower-72868thra01 but I don't know if I need to replace the rubber seal, the clip, or both? And I have no idea how to do it so far google has not been very helpful, where would I find how to replace it and once I know I can see further if one or both parts need to be replaced.
If it's not free shipping it's not worth it.

I was mistaken it's broken at the first part towards the rear of the car.

Just replaced for brand new a/c compressor and clutch, stopped blowing cool air after a day or 2. Any ideas?

First thing to check is freon. Bring it back where it was fixed.

seems like a competent shop, how likely is it that they missed that on a brand new install?

I am thinking a loose fitting where it leaked out, but it could be a metering valve or something else.

Don't know if this is exactly on-topic, but I figured the members posting here might be best equipped to answer (let me know if you think I should start a new topic).

I bought a new 2018 Honda CRV in April 2018, so it's about 4.5 years old at this point. I recently noticed that there's a lot of rust and corrosion under the hood - screws, brackets, even some metal tubes. I do live in NJ, so there is the northeastern winter factor, but most of these parts are not close to the road.

Is this a normal level of corrosion, and is there anything I should be doing differently?

What’s the best sale on tires that Costco runs?

Want to know if it’s worth waiting for something better than $150 a set of Michelins.

IME that's about it. Buying tires from the warehouses especially Costco is the way to go.

Some of it is normal (such as the rust on the exhaust manifold cover), but the rust on the intake hose clamp by the throttle body and on the thin (coolant?) lines in the third pic does seem to be unusual.

If you were ever in an accident and had front end body work done, make sure that all splash guards and weather stripping seals are properly installed. There should be rubber stripping on the front underside of the hood and until halfway up the sides, as well as on the cowl behind the hood. Sometimes, even if they are there, they won't seal properly due to panels not lining up correctly. They should be filling the front and rear gaps properly.

Is the clutch engaging on the compressor? Other than that IIRC you have one or two sensors. Really not any electronics involved. Make and year of vehicle?

Costco vs. Mavis for tires:

Cost is about the same (after Costco $150 off a set of 4).

Mavis is much more convenient for me and the tires are better (Michelin Defender) vs. what Costco has (Michelin Primacy).

Costco has terrible waits but they stand behind their products. Officially offer free road hazard protection, but I don't know if it's something I'd use (I don't have all day to wait for a patch, and they also only replace tires in pairs).

Both offer free rotations (Mavis is free even for non-customers, but that's not something I would do).

Am I missing anything else?

Looking for an honest mechanic to install a few parts to my 2004 Avalon. I provide the parts. I prefer a mechanic that takes a reasonable price per hour of clocked labor and doesn't mind that I bring the parts (I'm located in Boro Park, so preferably something not too far or you come to me). Does anyone have any ideas? Does anyone want the job (PM)?

I had my tires rotated and aligned. Now I feel a slight rumble when I drive. Can it be that the wear patterns are just different and will wear to a quieter ride?
