Air pockets are not that simple. It can be in the pump.

Then that will require me to do some research. Thanks for the tip on what it can be!
Most just require turning the steering all the way one way then all the way the other way. Repeat 5-10 times.
Only on DDF does 24/6 mean 24/5/half/half

Yup that's required for the removal of the hydro boost which is leaking, and replace the old gaskets.

Now a week or two after having the 4 tires replaced I got the TPMS sensor light on my dash, now it's weird it doesn't just come up it goes to zero PSI then it shows 101 PSI then goes to 50 then goes to 80 jumping all around.
I checked the tire pressure it's perfect and there is no particle inside the tire or no puncture wounds.
I tried to search for some videos how to reset it but don't have that option on my vehicle I think I'm going to have to bring it into the tire shop and let him do a remotely by computer.
Or it seems It's a faulty TPMS kit which will need to be replaced which might cost some money.

Not that this thread has been bumped.....

1. My factory car alarm has been going off randomly recently. It'll go off a bunch of times in one day and then not happen again for a few weeks and then another bunch of times.

Am I correct to assume that it's probably my battery going? I do know that my battery isn't great and I've heard that if it thinks it's in danger of dying and therefore at risk of not being alarmed then it'll sound the alarm, no?

I'm assuming it's the battery because I think if it was any other type of sensor then it should be going off more consistently, whereas battery charge can be more intermittent.

Any thoughts on that before I go replace my battery?

2. The latch for my gas tank door broke and it looks like the issue is that a piece on the I side of the gas tank door bent out of shape which then cracked the latch when I tried closing it, meaning that I have to replace the door and the latch. Is there any reason why I can't just install a magnet or some sort of spring on the inside of the door for a few dollars instead of replacing the door and latch ($100-200). Any safety concerns? (Of course there's a regular fuel cap behind the door.)

No idea. The car is 9 yrs old but I got it 6 months ago from a relative who didn't need it anymore, so unlike when buying a car I didn't ask lots of questions :)

I was going to say if it is 4-5 years old it would be a good place to start anyway.

That is usually on replacement ones not from the dealer. I know Pepboys and Advance Auto does that.

Front pads and rotors on daughters 2013 Sonata running around $170. Price of poker has gone up.
Rockauto shows pads and rotors from 60 to 160.00

Guess u want only top of line....

400 does seem steep even for a shop for just front two wheels pads and rotors..

There's a sticker with months and years to be punched out but nothing is punched out on it. I guess I'll replace it and see if that fixes the issue.

Yes as long as you have the cap on the fuel tank closed your good to go. You can install any magnetic clip or whatever you like.
But look for video of someone who changed the gas door and latch and see how it's done and what it cost to change the door on your own.

And regarding the battery very simple you can

For an old jalop that's not worth more than $60 buckaroos that's perfect!
Who cares if it sounds like an ostrich, as long as your brakes work when clicking the brake pedal, for an old car that's perfect!

but chances are if you're getting garbage rotors and garbage brake pads it might not work when you're trying to break. So don't be cheap when coming to safety.

For the battery do this simple step if you have a multi meter to save yourself time by getting a new one or go to Auto zone for free.

Or unless the alternator is bad which is not keeping the battery charged when the car is running hence, when the car is off the battery is pretty drained.
Does it feel hard to start the car? Meaning is there a lot of cranking going on?

 Or try this video.

A 2009 Camry with no heat, I finally brought it to my regular place today and he said my radiator is leaking and needs to be replaced. He said it's approx $325 in total.

Is that reasonable? Should I go for it or is the age of the car not worth it?
If it's not free shipping it's not worth it.

A 10 year old camry is still young.
