Click on the info button next to the part and it has a video on how to replace it.
Will be back later if you have more questions.
Only on DDF does 24/6 mean 24/5/half/half

how do i find out which exact part i need. i.e. where do i find the exact info on the car
   It's fairly simple.

Take your VIN number and when looking for a part on one of these car parts website there will be a place to enter your VIN and all the info will come up and for future reference you'll know if it's a 2500 or 3500 or 1500 model.

And once you find the mirror you need take the part number and Google search it.
That will get you the best price.

Sometimes it might be worth swapping out the whole mirror.
Assuming you did no damage to the casing many times you can replace the mirror part itself.

When entering the VIN it will show you the exact mirror, whether it was heater or has a side blinker and or folds and ....

Good luck. And if you need more help, willing to help you.

Honda Odyssey 2012

Rear trunk door electronic opener button does not work. Can only open trunk from inside with a screwdriver...

All rear lights are working so I am assuming it's not a fuse. - is this a correct assumption? They all seem to be coming from the same wires that branch off..

Need to figure out which is broken, the switch or the motor that opens the latch to know which one to replace.. any suggestions?

since it's electric you can't open it manually from outside?

The lights and the motor is probably on two different fuses.

Check fuses first.

...or try a heavy duty blinker relay.
...or drill wholes in the current blinker relay after you disassemble it.  :)
