I thought it was like the Freedom, which is also marketed as cash-back, but with the right cards, is transferable.

Got this card in December. Maxxed out 6k supermarket spend in December. Bill closed on Jan. 8. Got my first reward dollars on Feb 6 statement. Get the March 6 bill and my supermarket spend is showing as 1%. Anyone else have this? Chatted with Amex rep who said it was definitely wrong. I should still be getting 6% for 2015 spend.

I had card and procrastinated until Dec. to finish off spend. My Dec. charges came through on Jan. statement and it seems that they are counting for this year... Let me know if you get anywhere, but my plan was to spend first and then ask them...

Per chat they said they would reset me to 6%. Not counting those chickens yet. Like you,  spend first ask later.

Thanks. I was wondering since it's only allowing me to do 4 at a time as opposed to the Everyday card which can do 5. It also was giving some kind of error when trying to add cards a second time; although now it's working.

Seems different than this card, but IIRC, the OBC only allows three AU's.

If they credit it to your account balance, you will then have a credit balance which you can always request a check for. There's a form on the web site for this. http://www.americanexpress.com/inquirycenter Open a new inquiry and choose "I have a credit balance on my account".

Any point in not downgrading this to the BC if I don't need the groceries? Is AU policy different on BC vs BCP?

I am just trying to see if there is anything I am missing other then groceries that should make me be ok paying the fee vs the BC.

Well, there's 3% on gas and department stores. Even if you don't buy a lot of groceries, you can still spend thousands on gift cards to other stores, as well as Visa / Mastercard gift cards that you can use almost anywhere.

I have a Blue Cash card with 3 authorized user cards.
I was trying to add another authorized user and I got a letter a week later saying I am a maximum for authorized users.
anyone else have this issue ?

I called and they are saying for this "free" card there is a maximum of 3 additional users.
anyway to get around that ?

If i apply for this card this month and spend $6000 on groceries (6%) before dec 31

will it reset in January 2016 where I can spend another $6000?

basically double up on the $360 cash back for just 1 annual fee and a $150 statement credit?

TIA

Be very careful. My first bill closed on Januaru 8 and they counted all December grocery spend in 2015 instead of 2014. Lost out on $360 because of it. Get it in november or even before so u are guaranteed the double dip.

I thought the year ended the same month you got the card, not the calendar year?
Workflowy. You won't know what you're missing until you try it.
