yes.
When you're logged into your amex account.  click transactions.  Then click onto the individual transaction.  The last line in the information that comes up has the category.  supermarket and grocery is one category.
By me it just says groceries, with no mention of supermarket at all. And I would think that shop rite, and stop & shop are supermarket's.
It's been already 2 weeks since statement closed, and no rewards have posted to the account. Will see what happens.
Life is as good as you make it...

WF rewards visa. You'd prob want to try to get an OBC as well.

He said he spent $30k/year on grocery. That's under $50k...

Oh ya... Sorry... Didn't remember from a few weeks ago but now I do. If spending $30k/month and gets a WF, it's still a good idea to have on OBC as well. the original answer was a WF card plus an OBC to go along with it...

You have to quote who you're responding to for people to understand your question.
The consensus seems to be that a Wells Fargo 5% would suit you well for 6 months, and a combo of OBC, BCP, and EDP should get you through another 2 months, unless that's too much of a pain to keep track of.
For completely uncapped, amex PRG is 2x grocery, or you can get 3% CB grocery. Obviously, this is only if there are no higher options or they're too much of a pain to deal with.
Who do you think you are fooling? You think you are going to pull a quick one on your Creator? Good luck with that.

Depends on where you are buying food from.

OBC is capped at $50k/year, but a good tool to have regardless. IIRC it's safer to only spend up to your credit line with Amex so it will help for up to your credit line each month. It will come in hand at times when WF doesn't release credit line right away.
