There are many commissioned sales based opportunities since the business owner doesn't risk much by taking you in part time. In my commercial energy brokerage I have a bunch of part timers.

any suggestions for a side income? i work a full time job but need the extra $$$ on the side. (i"m familiar with all regular computer programs)

how well can you teach computer stuff? (basic understanding, terminology and usage, printers, scanners, Word, Excel, Outlook, Browsers, etc.)
There is a strong market for people that can come in to a company on a temporary basis for a few hours a week and teach the employees to use computers and provide basic IT support. You can also parlay that into a refresher course every 6 months to a year.

There are always new programs and tech coming out and people need to be taught how to use them.
